The Relay

The relay is ideal for first timers looking for an introduction to Triathlon. A team of 3 consists of one swimmer, one cyclist and one runner with each team member handing over their timing chip (the baton) at the end of each leg. This means you only have to tackle one of the three legs to a triathlon.

Although the Relay format is a fantastic introduction to triathlon, there will also be experienced athletes battling it out for the win.  Whether you are taking part for the first time, or a regular athlete looking to participate in this team event our event is sure to be one of the highlights in this years sporting calendar.

Event T-Shirt

A perfect souvenir from the day and with their high wicking fabric they are great for training in.  When you book your place in the triathlon don't forget to add your official race technical t-shirt to your order for only £11.50.

Must be purchased before midnight on Thursday 13th June 2019!

The Swim

The Zone3 swim, is a one lap 750m course taking place within Mercers Lake. With good visibility in the water and some great vantage points for spectators it offers a fantastic opening leg to the triathlon. ***PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A WETSUIT COMPULSORY SWIM***

The Bike

The bike is a one lap 20km course which heads out of the park onto the surrounding local roads. It is a beautifully scenic route with a few hills to add to the challenge! Please note that there will be a neutral zone for competitors to cross the A25.

The Run

The 5km run consists of two laps that navigate around the lake on the trail that will take competitors past the crowds of supports as it goes through the race HQ.
