First of all let me introduce myself, my
name is Andy Coates I'm 27 and live in the north of England. I'm just
your average Joe (no offence to any Joe's who aren't average , just
coining a phrase!) who, along with the other millions in the world go
to work pay the bills, pay more bills sometimes have a little left
over to enjoy myself now and again as everyone likes to do!. For a
more detailed history of why I've decided to create this website,
resource, source of entertainment / tedium ? please read on!
Early 2006 I decided to do a Google search for other ways of making an
income after deciding I was sick of work an wanted to "get rich quick".
Not being one to jump straight in, I kept trawling through the many hair
brained schemes on the web offering "magic money making systems" only to
discover the only way to get rich quick was to.....
a. Rob a bank (or)
b. Win the lottery!
Deciding I wasn't too keen of spending time at one of her majesties
prisons I decided against option a, but after spending a little time
researching b, I discovered it could be feasible to win reasonable
smaller amounts over the long term (probably not the £10,00,000
jackpot!) though more on that later!!
Eventually I decided to look into share dealing, buying and selling
shares on the stock market couldn't be that hard and it sounded like
fun. Again not wanting to be too hasty I did my research into buying and
selling shares and eventually my searching lead me to the website of
Robbie Burns

(not the poet) an independent investor who has
a great knack for picking good shares and making a great deal of money
from them. He writes a regular Blog on his website which is both
entertaining and informative!, this is where I discovered his article
on Residual Income entitled Quitting The Rat Race! it is well worth a
read and you never know you may decide to buy his book along the way The
Naked Trader which I would say is a must have if you are looking to
invest some of your hard earned cash in the stock market! (yes Robbie
that was a free plug!)
Anyway, back to the story! I did decide to buy a few shares hoping to
make my fortune and did make some money, and lost a little more before
deciding not to trade until I had done allot more homework and educated
myself on picking shares. What did keep coming back to me was the story
of residual income, a way of making money which you kept receiving long
after the initial work had been put in!
Eventually, (back to the
lottery!) I decided to join an affiliate scheme where I was part of a
lottery syndicate but also had the opportunity of introducing other
people to the syndicates to which I earn commission on subscriptions! I
still run this now with great results at

which is one of the reasons I decided to start off The Residual Income
Project. My lottery business site had slowly evolved from not only
selling lottery syndicates, but to telling people about the residual
income it can generate by becoming an affiliate, money saving ideas, and
other ways to create a residual income.
So here is The Residual
Income Project or Triproject for short, my personal project to see if
through a resource website about residual income, can generate its own
residual income through online affiliate schemes, subtle advertising,
and Google AdSense!
I aim to bring regular
updates on how Triproject is generating an income, If any! and welcome
any ideas and suggestions.
